San Antonio Attractions
Before anything else in San Antonio, you have to visit the Alamo, site of one of the most famous events in American history. Today it’s a picturesque monument with museums. You could probably spend an entire vacation at River Walk, the city’s tourist district, with its lively feel, shops, restaurants and attractions. The San Antonio Zoo has educational opportunities. The Botanical Gardens are simply beautiful, with preserved 19th century houses, an observation tower and all varieties of Texas landscape in the middle of the city. The AT&T Center is home to the Spurs, and the Alamodome and Freeman Colliseum also host games and events. The city also features Six Flags Fiesta Texas, a SeaWorld, and Splashtown for days of fun.
